Seductive Town

Ochagavía has something that is unforgettable: it is blunt, strong, like of its surrounding mountains.

Good Atmosphere in Ochagavía

It is one of those towns that make you fall in love, one of those that you know you will visit again some time. Maybe it’s the warmth of the people, the atmosphere of the bars, and the mixture of foreigners with locals. I don’t know what it is but it is a charming town.

It is located in Salazar Valley and it is a typical town of the Pyrenees in Navarra. The houses are beautiful, many doors are decorated with coats of arms carved in stone, the streets are very narrow, to protect themselves from the cold winter.

It is strategically well located, since it constitutes one of the main points of access to the Irati Forest, and it also allows you to cross over to France through the majestic mountain port of Larrau.

A Warm Town

It is really a warm town, surrounded by amazing nature.

Despite the tourism, you walk along the streets and feel as if you are in the most remote place on the planet. Its streets and houses are very well kept.
