In Fossano everything is linked to the Acaja castle. The majestic building, built in the XIV century, stands on the land and has been witness to the power of the princes of Acaja and later the Savoy, who lived there for centuries. Palio dei Borghi also has links to the Castle, the vistor experiences an evocation of emotions and facts that really occurred in its history. The city hosted the wedding of Carlo Emanuele I of Spain and Princess Catherine of Austria.
