Amy´s Bread

AMY'S BREAD is a well known Manhattan bakery chain, which has branches in the neighborhoods of Chelsea, in the Village and in Midtown. They bake over a hundred different items, with different shapes and sizes, used for grain production. Almost everything is made by hand. In addition to the various tasty breads produced, they also make a variety of pastries, cookies and cakes. There are 12 tables where you can sit and sample some of their products, with a coffee or a soft drink. You can also place an order and take it home or back to your hotel.

In the heart of Chelsea Market, to our delight, there are many gourmet shops with windows to peek into. We tried dozens of traditional pastries including those at Amy's Bread, an iconic chain that we really loved. Their breads are original and always perfectly baked and garnished and each of the pastries is more beautiful than the next. The brownies and cheesecake were particularly delicious. It was a delicious gourmet break.
