Antichi Sapori Ristorante

We went to this restaurant based on the recommendation of the receptionist of our hotel because we had arrived at Trapani very late at night, and did not know anything, so we didn´t hesitate to follow his advice. The restaurant was a short distance from where were staying, in the Corso Vittorio Emanuele, and had a terrace by Yolanda Princess Square, where we were seated. We just walked into the restaurant to use the bathroom, but I could see that the decor was that of a sailor tavern, with vaulted ceilings and paintings on the walls related to the ocean and fishing craft. The dishes are traditional Italian dishes, but also they also specialize in fish and cous cous.

Walking through Trapani, we came across this small restaurant, it was one of the few that were open and there was a sticker on the door from a Routard recommendation. We decided to enter and we found a typical Italian restaurant with wooden tables, red placemats, etc. We ordered carpaccio, and pasta with tomato and cheese that were served with Sicilian crostinis and good bread. We were pleased with both the food and the service and the atmosphere.
