Antonio José da Mota Memorial

At the beginning of Rua da Junqueira, opposite the main door of the Chapel of Santiago, is a monument to Mayor Antonio Jose da Mota. It's a full body sculpture was made on the centenary of his birth. Antonio Jose da Mota was President of the Câmara Municipal de Póvoa de Varzim 1952-1960, and Commander of Firemen 1946-1963.
