The museum is housed in a 14th century building. It was founded in 1956 by the Gavardo Cuevas Group and was transferred to the municipality. The museum offers a narrated history by Valsabbina Gardesana about the story of man from the Paleolithic to the Renaissance. The exhibition presents some of the findings of the Pleistocene fossil fauna in the Frate del Bucoen, the findings of the Mount Covolo complex and ceramics found in Lucone of Polpenazze del Garda.
