Arms of Andahuaylillas Square

The main square is still the center of all life of Andahuaylillas. It is home to many things, including the market, and the church of St. Peter the Apostle (san-pedro-apostle). It is the true jewel of the little town. It's a very beautiful place surrounded by large palm trees and pisonay. This tree is typical of the temperate zones of the Andes, and also creates a big shadow.
