    A large, modern building

    The Azour hotel is in the center of Agadir, and is a large modern building, 15 minutes walk from the beach. You're close to the craft centre and the Talborjt Nouveau district, the new part of town, built after the earthquake destroyed Agadir in 1960. It's not a trendy place, but it's where the local people go out. To experience the typical tourist parties, you'll have to go to the beach in a taxi (20 DH). The hotel has just reopened after a major renewal and has some apartments with basic kitchens and living rooms, as well as ordinary rooms.
