Haunted!
I have visited Barnacle State Park several times, once was even on a haunted tour of Coconut Grove. Story goes that it is haunted, guess you will have to visit and look for ghosts and ghouls yourself!
They have an Old Time Dance here that is really fun on the last Sunday of every month at 6 pm. You go and learn how to square dance then you can enjoy a fun night of dancing. Most events are $10 or so, normally $2 to enter so everything is reasonable. It's just a really great place to take a picnic and enjoy an evening under the stars.
