Barrantes Mills Route

This isn't the first time that we have taken this route that begins at Castaños, before entering the town of the town of Barrantes which is part of the Ruta de Pedra. Along the banks of the Armenteira river are the mills. The route is about 2 kilometers long and is made up of 6 mills. It can be done alone or with a guide, from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 to 2pm and you must make an appointment. On this stretch stands the Armenteira Monastery which is a little difficult to get to because it is uphill, but I recommend it for its scenic beauty.
