3 reviews of Bay of Fundy

Natural Marvel in Canada

This bay is famous for having the highest tides in the world, which can reach up to 20 meters high. It can be found on the Atlantic coast of Canada, in the provinces of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, covering approximately 250 kilometers. The area has two bays, the Chignectou Bay and the Ensenada de Minas Bay. The most visited place in the bay is Hopewell Rocks Park, where you can wander amongst numerous rock formations when the tide is low. Here is where you can also see whales (North Atlantic right)! Because of this, it's been selected by Canada to participate as a candidate to be one of the seven wonders of nature, although I still prefer the Rockies with their lakes , waterfalls , [poi = 530 491] glaciers [/ poi], [poi = 567 921] canyons [/ poi] and wildlife .
