Bom Jesus do Monte

Visitors to Braga shouldn't miss climbing Mount Espinho, better known as Mount Bom Jesus due to its famous Sanctuary of Bom Jesus Christ, which is a major center of pilgrimage and popular devotion. However, one need not be religious to visit this mountain, it's a beautiful natural park in a pure state - you can go all day and breathe fresh air. It has multiple trails for walking and hiking, a lake, natural caves, kindergarten, picnic areas, several bars selling drinks and no less than 3 hotels and their respective restaurants surrounded by gardens. It's on a hill 116 meters above the city and is an excellent vantage point.
