Bridge Over the Kwai River
In Kanchanaburi we found the bridge over the Kwai River . The first was made of wood, using allies and Asian slave workers. It was replaced by this steel bridge in 1943. Occasionally the random train passes over the bridge, but most rail traffic has been diverted to another newer bridge.
