1 review of Capucins Square

A lively place

Capucins Square is in the center of Bordeaux, between Cours de la Marne and Saint Michel Square. In 1744 it had a monumental gate with a sculptured facade, it was then one of the entrances to the old town of Saint Michel, the historic heart of Bordeaux. Capucins Square was built by architect Alary, with Montégut's plans but it was destroyed in 1883. On each side of the square, Alary built 5 houses as you can see in the pictures.
