A border marker
If you are driving on the A68, you'll know when you move from England to Scotland as the border is marked by a large standing stone inscribed with the names of the two countries. Many tour buses stop here for photo opportunities, and you can often see a Scottish bagpiper, complete with the full traditional outfit ... on the right side of the border, of course!
