Casa Vicent

We were walking through Peñíscola we saw a restaurant with an incredible terrace that was protected from the insufferable July heat at the highest point of the city. Although we had to head uphill to get to it, it was worth the trip. We were a group of seven, with three being young (so we were looking for something home style). We enjoyed the service, the food (we chose a little bit of everything to share between all seven of us) and the incredible views.

The fideua was to die for, the rose wine was chilled and quality, the rice dishes (paella) cooked to perfection, the variety of tapas and appetizers was great.

We went to Casa Vicent two weeks ago. We were going from place to place in the area asking for a good restaurant, especially where they make good rice dishes (paellas). We asked in several stores and they recommended us this place. We went to try it and it was true what they said. The service, the food, and the views were all great. The truth is that nothing was out of the ordinary, we left satisfied and with no complaints. My experience there was good, so I recommend it, just like the townspeople we talked to. I hope to go back during Easter week.

I’ve known this place for many years. I’ve eaten here many, many times. They always work hard and try to do everything right – both the service and the cooks. The best quality fish and seafood can be found here.

Everything is clean in this small and modest restaurant. It’s so simple that it’s luxurious and gets all my respect and admiration.
