Lewes Castle & Museum

This charming castle, nestled deep in the English countryside, is notable both for its architecture, and the wonderful gardens that are cared for on a daily basis. From the top of the tower on a clear day you can see for miles around! You can take a mini guided tour around the castle, or watch a movie about its history. Opening hours change throughout the year, so have a look on the website. There's also a small shop selling books and souvenirs. Entry costs £ 7, with reduced prices for groups and families.
