A calm spot
The Place du Chateau is one of the highest points in the historical centre of Lausanne. This is where you'll find the castle of Sainte Marie, very discreet in comparison with the imposing cathedral located within walking distance. On this site, we find the statues of the heroes of Lausanne: Charles Veillon and Abraham Davel. It's a calm spot with a lovely view down over the city.
