1 review of Causewayhead

where William Wallace fought

Good

Causewayhead is one of the most exclusive and expensive districts of Stirling, on the road between the city and Cambuskenneth, Stirling University, and Bridge of Allan. During the pre-medieval and medieval time, the border of southern Scotland was marked by the River Forth. The famous bridge where William Wallace fought his battle was the only way to reach the north, so this is one of the most important historical sites in the city.
