Central Park Lake

In the central area of Central Park, located above The Mall is The Lake. You shouldn't miss out on seeing this large, magnificent body of water. It isn't the largest lake in the park (that's The Reservoir), but it is famous because here you can rent boats and even gondolas! You can also rent bicycles and tandems in the area. The lake is crossed by the Bow Bridge.

This is a great place to escape the hubub of the city. I was captivated to see these ducks seemingly swimming across the buildings in the lake.

A stroll through Central Park offers so many different vistas-lakes, buildings, birds, ducks, carousels, trees etc.
