Delicious, affordable Middle Eastern food in Glendale
Al-Wazir Chicken is a great place to grab some Middle Eastern cuisine without breaking your wallet. (Plus, it's a local business!) The vast majority of the modest menu (there aren't 10 million choices, but that makes it easier to choose what to order!) is less $10. Service is pretty quick, too, but best of all, the people working there are so friendly and attentive that you'll want to come back again! There are just a few tables for dining in, so take that into account when planning a visit. I went at a time when it wasn't too crowded, but it could get that way given the limited seating. The beef luleh kabob plate is quite delicious, and among the beverages served include hot tea in a clear glass! Parking is kind of challenging right in front, but there's also residential parking and free 3-hour parking on Brand Boulevard, a parallel street just a block away.
