Northern Chile

In the world's driest desert, in northern Chile, is a town called Chiu-Chiu. It is a town with pre-Columbian architecture that still exists in the ancestral form. The photograph was taken near the Inca Coya Lagoon which is a few kilometres from the village, where you can see some volcanoes that are in the Andes.
