City Hall of Nyaung Shwe

Just behind the Yadana Man Aung Paya pagoda in Nyaung Shwe is an old wooden building, that looks abandonment, which would completely pass unnoticed if it were not for the volleyball games that are held most days between 12:15 and 13 : 15 h. This building was built to be the celebrations building (City Hall) for Nyaung Shwe in Inle Lake. Never used for that purpose, it became a pavilion which hosts volleyball tournaments to players from around the lake and where every day highly-skilled people play. Volleyball is a sport that can be seen around all the lake.
