Many Remarkable Buildings

After crossing the medieval stone bridge, you reach the tower door of San Roque, which used to be the ancient entrance to this town that has been named Historical Artistic Complex. It also preserves the Bergós portal. In the square you find the palatial house that was the Blanc inn, the Pereret house and the consistorial house; it was finished in 1599 and it is a great representation of the mannerism from Aragón. In the upper part of town are the castle and the Santa María la Mayor church, which is included in the Levantine gothic of the 14th and 15th centuries. Outside is the Ermita de los Santos.

A Great Stop

Next to the river, Valderrobres is the prettiest town of the region of Matarraña. It is located on a hill and it has a cramped ancient downtown which you can access through a beautiful medieval bridge with three arches. It is really nice to get lost in the narrow and dark streets that go up from Mayor Street to the monumental church and that continue until you reach the great castle that guards the town.

Valderrobres, despite its small size, is the dynamic capital of the region. Any of its restaurants will be a good choice to stop and taste the exquisite gastronomy. The lamb, the hams,

A Charming Town

Excellent

It is the capital of the region of Matarraña. It is a charming town located on a hill next to the Matarraña River. When the sun sets, the warm light lets us admire the beauty of the town, with the castle and church covered with a starry blanket.
