Comares Arab Arches

Walking through the winding streets of Comares, is to walk through the history of the Axarquia. Due to its strategic location within the county, Comares was an area populated by the different cultures that settled in Andalusia. Its streets have strong Arab influences, as for centuries there was a strong andalusí influence. One of the streets that speaks in time is the street of the arches, a winding, narrow street lined with medieval Arab arches.
