Coniston Boating Centre

As usual in all lakes (or most), one of the busiest points of Lake Coniston is the nautical club that offers a wide range of activities, almost all based on navigation, of course. The most requested is the tour in a small lake cruise, but I really think that small boats have the most charm. In the English lakes it is possible (which is not very common in Scotland) to rent small motor boats, apart from the typical to oars, allowing us to cover more surface of the lake. For sailing enthusiasts there are intensive courses and boats can be hired if you have experience, but it's pretty common to see boats overturned due to the people not have enough experience.
