Praia da Consolação

Consolação Beach is located in Peniche, close by the old center which now has a museum. The beach spans several miles and has the typical services such as bathrooms, showers, first aid, umbrellas, etc., plus public parking nearby. This beach is ideal for water sports and of course, to have a dip.

This is a wonderful small town with two sandy beaches. One is a blue flag beach and the other is known as one of the places with the highest concentration of iodine so it's a nice place to take mud baths for sore joints.
