Cruise of the Lord of the Rooster

The Lord of Rooster Cross is the most important piece on display at the Archaeological Museum of Barcelos. It's a Romanesque XIV century cross that was initially in Barcelinhos (a parishes of Barcelos, just across the river). It's made of stone and is fully engraved with bas-reliefs of the legend of the Rooster of Barcelos, the city's emblem and is in the grounds of the Palace of the Counts of Barcelos.
