I visited this spot almost a year ago but the highlight was the guided tour of the interior of the Mint. I found spectacular rich history has only one thing that I could imagine if I would visit Potosi.
La Casa Real de la Moneda is often regarded as the most complete and interesting museums in all of Bolivia. I think it's worth a visit. A two-hour walk with a guide (Spanish, English or French) is mandatory because the museum is so large. The guides follow different itineraries. The museum gives information on the importance of extracting money from the mines of Potosí, the birth of capitalism in Europe in the sixteenth century, different currencies, and the first locomotive in the country, among others things.
