Da Galé Hotel

Really disappointed by this hotel. We found a rusty, dirty-looking bathtub, stained walls, spider webs, moisture and a strong odor. The last straw was returning to find three cockroaches, and the water running non-stop, unable to turn off. They didn't offer us any solutions, just put a towel on the floor for the water and killed the cockroaches. The next day we tried to get our money back for the rest of the stay, but nothing's happened so far. The agency has even spoken with the hotel manager, but no solution. We've changed room, and the new one is a slight improvement, but there are still plenty of problems.

The Da Galé Hotel was built in 1998 and is located in the Cerro da Piedade about 300 meters from the center. It has wonderful views of the ocean and of the cost of Algarve. It has 60 rooms, bar, 24 hour front desk, non-smoking rooms and elevator. It also has a laundry service, fax and photocopier. Guests also have access to wi-fi in all public areas.
