Delaney Park is a park that is very long, stretching for thirteen blocks between Ninth and Tenth Avenues. It is the oldest park in Anchorage and is the place to go for sports and community activities. There are football fields, tennis courts, a rose garden and several playgrounds. Anchorage is known as the City of Flowers in the summer and a visit to Delaney Park will show you why!
