    Family run establishment in Mirissa

    Dinu's Resort is a tiny family run establishment in Mirissa. It is on the western side of the beach, ie you see a lovely sunrise in the morning. It's in the forest, not so much heat gets into the room. They are comfortable but basic. The hotel has traditional and western food, you have to ask some hours before so they can go to buy products. They also rent surfboards, bicycles, motorcycles ... And the guy has a tuk tuk and can go around the region looking for temples and monasteries. If you want you can arrange with them to pick you up at the airport in Colombo, but it is an expensive service.
