Flavor of the sea

The Restaurante Don Petiscohe has a window on the edge of the Guadiana in Vila Real de Sto. Antonio. It's an excellent place to enjoy fresh fish overlooking the river. From its terrace, right on the river, enjoy a nice long evening thanks to the menu they offer, the friendliness of its staff and the privileged location. There aren't always tables so it's advisable to make a reservation or arrive early. Definitely worth it.

The guadiana river makes its final st...

The Guadiana River makes its final stretch border between Spain and Portugal up to the mouth, where the city is Ayamonte Spanish side looking to Vila Real de Sto. Antonio on the Portuguese side. To make the river navigable and dredging avoid a dam was built on the Portuguese side, which can be accessed by taking the road next to the lighthouse. After old canneries and shipyards carreterilla opens the river, the beach and the sea. Is there some hidden among pine trees is the entrance to this restaurant Dom Petisco. When you enter the first time, we are surprised by its magnificent views over the estuary. The menu offers the traditional local, seafood risotto, cataplana and grilled fresh fish, all very rich.

The site is very nice, but it's hard ... To eat a Catalan must order the day before. Cod takes 40 '. Rich cuttlefish ...

Good fish

Although not the best, it is a good place to discover what it means to eat in the Algarve. Good quality and cuisine, the restaurant without being inappropriate is not your forte, That if good value for money

Buen pescado
