Doué Zoo

A natural land where more than 70 species of animals in a prehistoric landscape live in vegetation. This area is committed to the conservation of species in natural surroundings. In the year 1961, Louis Gay created this zoo making it one of the leading French private parks. 50 years and 2 generations later, the Zoo de Doue la Fontaine has stayed a family business. The park has become a place where people from all over the world share their passion for nature. It is home to more than 300 birds and South American species: ibis, flamingos, parrots, Amazons, vultures, stilts and ducks playing and the giant anteater.
