Downtown Bishkek Avenues

The first impression you get in many Soviet cities is an innate coolness that is really impersonal. Somehow Bishkek is the opposite, or at least those were my feelings. It is a capital that has the air of small provincial town, its streets are quite manageable and avenues of trees provide the opportunity to walk and wander aimlessly. Surely it has nothing to do with the coming Osh. I stayed several days and for me it was pleasant. Pleasantly sauntering seeing streets, corners, parks and churches.
