El Castillo, Xilitla

Xilitla is a village in the Huasteca Potosi, San Luis Potosi, Mexico. It is a region with tropical rainforest climate, featuring many rivers and waterfalls. It is a magical place with a convent right in the center. The constructions of the waterfalls are surreal. The castle staff is friendly and the castle is a magical place worth visiting and recommending . As for food, you must taste the zacahuil (giant tamale made in rustic oven), enchiladas huastecas and especially the coffee. Overall, I recommend the region called La Finca de la Santa Cruz. You can buy it in the center, where there is a gallery of different items from the convent.
