After walking all morning around Segovia, rejecting one restaurant after the other for various reasons, we found our way to El Cordero, and we were delighted with it. We arrived late, but they gave us great service, smiling all the time. The food was delicious - butter beans, tomato salad, and of course the unforgettable roast lamb. We'll be back, that's for sure.
At this establishment you can eat in the restaurant or the bar...we've now eaten twice at tables outside the bar and can thoroughly recommend it. In the bar you are served omelettes, olives and other tapas free with your drinks so it works out as an excellent value for money. Today we had 3 tapas for free with our beers and then a plate of setas (wild mushrooms) in a delicious sauce follwed by pulpo (octopus) on a bed of potato, both sent over from the restaurant.
