Poniatowski Bridge

This bridge has the most direct access to the stadium from the city center, so is known as the Euro Cup! Before the game it is a sea of people and flags! It was opened in 1914, but only a year later, the Russians in their retreat blew up part of the bridge. In 1944 the Nazis blew up part of it too, to avoid the escape of the Varsovians and to make the city as isolated as possible. It was rebuilt between 1963 and 1966 and was expanded.
