Vapour from Bures factory
The textile factory Bures de ingles en la selva, finally closed in 2006 after more than 100 years of activity, but luckily an initiative funded by the European Community has been able to reopen part of its facilities to show industrial splendour that the Catalan textile sector once has, with a jewel of industrial archeology, a huge steam engine built by the Land and Maritime Machinist of Barcelona, over 100 years old, which has been restored for show, moving their giant rods with an astounding sound.
