Environment of Yangshuo

One of the best parts of my trip to China was Yangshuo. We were tired of the bustle of the cities and decided to rent some bikes and visit the outskirts of Yangshuo. We got a map of the area and did a few routes from the countryside and some of the small towns. It's a highly, highly recommended experience.

One of the best experiences of our trip to China was in Yangshuo. Tired of the chaos of the cities we decided to rent a bike and discover the surroundings of Yangshuo. We were looking for a map of the area and took a tour of many villages and fields. The experience was fascinating.

Yangshuo is a small city around 70 kilometers south of Guilin, but the interesting part isn't the city but rather the landscape. Riding around the outskirts of Yangshuo on a bike was one of the best experiences I had in China. You can also get a boat and sail down the Li river, but I couldn't since the day I had planned to go it started raining. I do hope to do it one day, though. You can explore the area by bike, generally going over easy trails. Street bikes go for about $1.50 and mountain bikes maybe $3.50. You won't be disappointed.

What better way to explore the valleys around Yangshuo than to rent a motorcyle and explore the countryside, farms, and rivers.
