Escravitude Sanctuary

In the province of Corunna, corresponding to the region of O Sar in the town of Padrón, is located the church sanctuary of Escravitude. It can be accessed on foot. It was built in the thirteenth century though one of its towers dates from the nineteenth century. Note the holy font, so named due to the devotees who came here for the miraculous healing properties of its water. Its construction is characterized by stone towers and central access stairway.
