Going back to the 80's with the statue of our favorite robot
A little over 1 hour from Barcelona (40 minutes from Tarragona), erect among pines, is this enigmatic 10 meter high fiberglass statue that is accessible by a dirt road that has brought fame to Mas del Plata de Tarragona. Built in the 80s to guard the entry to the forgotten village of "Mazinger". In the back of one of his legs is a hidden trap door that allows entry and you can climb to the head. Some say that years ago there were regular speakers, they were like the bell of a church, they sounded the legendary phrase "¡puños fuera!", but to what extent this is true we don't know.
