Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve

9 reviews of Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve

A place in unspoiled southern Child with responsible tourism

This are is an unspoiled southern Chile one bordering Bolivia, volcanoes and lagoons with flamingos ... The tourist facilities are basic, hostel type. 4x4 is accessed. The "roads" are unpaved . It´s good to not approach the animals and not "stress them" with our desire to take pictures. And take everything you had with you when you arrive, leaving no garbage. There is an impressive place called Uyuni. It is important to stay out of the salt and not the hotel that is there , which is damaging the environment according to the complaints from environmental groups. It is Only licensed to operate as a museum, not a hotel.
