Amazing place, so warm and friendly
What a nice, warm, friendly place, with lovely people and incredible views. You'll imagine yourself in one of the famous 'Heidi' stories. Its surroundings are equally fabulous, totally worth walking the gruelling hours in the sun to visit the turquoise, lonely and frightening Laguna Brava, in Cimarron. It's obviously not recommended for children, but for people eager to get to know Guatemala it's perfect! The road was in perfect condition during the trip, and we enjoyed the scenic mountains of Cuchumatanes, that literally look up to the clouds.
