Fountain and Monument to S. Sebastian Vieira

The surrounding gardens where the impressive parish church lies, you also find the beautiful fountain and pond surrounded by large trees and the monument dedicated to the martyr of this town, San Sebastian Vieira. In the back of the pond and surrounded by stone benches, lies the cemetery of Castro Daire, so typical in rural villages as beforehand they would never have thought to put a cemetary next to the church, as is the case in the villages of Galicia. In one corner of the pond you can see a large cross at the base decorated with some flowers and plants as well as a bit of life within the pond.
