Gaius Francisqui

As in most of the small keys that make up the archipelago of Los Roques, they are a pun on the Spanish pronunciation of the English name, and this was the case in whoever was put in charge of naming this tiny island. Hence, Francis Key (the Key of Francis) became known as Francisqui. Francisqui, apart from being a stone's throw from Gran Roque, it has an inner bay (actually a coral ring) where it is easy to first class snorkeling: you simply have to see the transparency of the water in this area to realize that just dipping your head slightly in the water you can see all kinds of fish. Moreover, the other side of the island has rocky areas that form small pools, and it's very easy to see here starfish and other less friendly creatures such as brunettes.
