Kasbah Museum Gardens

1 review of Kasbah Museum Gardens

Beautiful Moroccan/Andalusian-style garden

Inside the Kasbah Museum, there's a beautiful Moroccan/Andalusian-style garden that you can't miss if it is open. They're known as the Sultan's Gardens and were built in the 14th century. To access them, you have to climb the stairs from the ground floor of the museum and pass through a door that is normally closed. If you ask the museum guard, he'll usually open it for you. The garden is full of trees from the region and some beautiful orange trees. There are also clay pots with flowers and a pair of old cannons. The doors of the garden are spectacular, as most old doors in Morocco tend to be.
