The area of Place de la Victoire that adjoins the Rue Alexandre Isaac is composed of a large garden with lots of trees, benches and grassy areas. The most significant thing is a bandstand built in 1930 that was installed in front of the Rue de la République, in the same place where the theatre Pointe-à-Pitre once stood that was destroyed by a hurricane.
