Grand Etang National Park & Forest Reserve

1 review of Grand Etang National Park & Forest Reserve

Ideal place for nature lovers

In St. Andrew province, between Greenville and St. George, is the Grand Etang National Park, which is characterized by a huge lake surrounded by high hills covered with lush tropical vegetation consisting of mahogany forests, ferns, tropical flowers and other native plants. In this park there are also many wild animals, monkeys, armadillos, lizards and frogs, and many birds (hummingbirds, hawks ...). The lake is actually the crater of an extinct volcano. It is an ideal place for nature lovers and people doing adventure sports, here you can go hiking and trekking. The park has an interpretive center.
