Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument

Nestled in the heart of Utah in the great American West, Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument is one of the many natural attractions of the region and is, in fact, an unmissable stop along the way if you're heading to Bryce Canyon. I must say that we were simply blown away by this remarkable landscape, the high rock piles, the Colorado Plateau, and these beautiful canyons. The area was declared a National Monument by Bill Clinton in 1996, and we loved the breathtaking panoramic views.
